Dudi Township Borehole Well

We recently completed a handpump well at Dudi Township Primary School that will bring clean, accessible water to the school and community. We're super excited to announce that this project has officially been handed over to the school. Thanks to your support, the Dudi Township community can thrive and students at this school can dedicate more of their time to learning

Shirotsa Latrine

Our newest official project is the Shirotsa Latrine. This summer, travelers met with Shirotsa Primary school to discuss a critical need for better sanitation at the school. They signed an MOU and assessed the site to kick off the project. EWB students will continue to design this project throughout the semester. With your help, we are hoping to construct in the next year.

Mushikongolo Laboratory

In partnership with Mushikongolo Primary & Junior Secondary School, our team is planning the construction of a chemistry laboratory. This project will provide students with hands-on opportunities to learn and engage in the sciences. EWB students have completed initial designs and are planning to construct in late October. This project will also include a new chapter to EWB and M-Koko's relationship, as M-Koko will be the general contractor for construction.

Mushikongolo Early Childhood Development School

EWB@MSU planning meeting at Khwisero Technical and Vocational College

Khwisero Technical and Vocational College Irrigation System

This project partners with students and faculty at the Khwisero Technical and Vocational College to develop an irrigation system that supports agricultural learning and food production. The team is testing and evaluating irrigation methods for a variety of local crops. Progress includes signing the MoU, conducting surveying, and beginning fieldwork on agricultural plots.

EWB Film Project

We've decided to channel our creative side with another new project: a film about our projects, partnership and connection to the Khwisero community. This film will include footage from 2026 and 2027 summer travel and will be completed in the fall of 2028. We are excited to bring you an initial clip of the film at this Jubilee and appreciate your support on this new endeavor.
